SearchesComing soon*

Google has moved you.

What they search to find you, and what you leave on the table. On the article, not in another tab.

What they search for — and what you leave on the table.

Your stories sitting on page two of Google, one headline tweak from page one. Queries that show you a lot and click you little. Two of yours fighting for the same search. And a piece of yours fading on Discover. On the article, not in another tab.

The figure comes from Search Console, with Google’s one-to-three-day delay. Readers is the now. Searches is the days-and-weeks layer. The editor still decides what to write.

Change the headline

Position 11, and it has been rising.

An article of yours on page two — many impressions, few clicks, one headline tweak from the first page. The call sits on the story, not in a 40,000-row table.

Update it

A piece that was working has started to fall.

The query that used to put you near the top, or a story fading on Discover. A line for the shift: refresh it before it goes cold — or leave it if the news has moved.

You are competing

Two of yours, the same search.

Two URLs of yours fighting for one query. The panel says so, so the newsroom can merge, differentiate, or pick a winner.

What does Searches tell me?

What people search to find you — and what you are leaving on the table. Which of your articles sit on page two of Google, one headline tweak from page one; which queries show you a lot and click you little; when two of yours compete for the same search; and which of your stories is fading on Discover.

Isn’t that the same as Search Console?

The data comes from there, yes: Google’s official API, with your permission. Search Console hands you a 40,000-row table and leaves you alone. We say: this article is in position 11 and has been rising for three days — change the headline. And we say it on the article, not in another tab.

What access do you need?

Read access to your site’s Search Console property. No writing, no Ads, no Analytics. You authorize it with the Google account you already have, and you can revoke it whenever you want.

How delayed is the figure?

Google’s delay, not ours: Search Console publishes with a one-to-three-day lag, and it hides very small queries. We do not hide that — Searches is not live. Readers is the now. Searches is the days-and-weeks layer.

Does it include Discover?

Yes, where Google exposes it. For many Spanish publishers Discover weighs more than search, and it deserves its own reading: it does not behave the same, and you do not fix it the same way.

Does it replace my SEO tool?

No, and it does not try to. Ahrefs or Semrush are for months of strategy and links. Searches is for today’s shift: which headline to touch before the piece goes cold. They sit well together.

What actions does it fire?

Change the headline (position 8–15, many impressions, few clicks), Update it (a piece of yours that was working has started to fall), You are competing (two of your URLs for the same query), and Demand gap (people search something with volume and you have published nothing).

When will it be available?

Fourth quarter of 2026, on the same glass as Readers and Competitors, at no extra price. It is the next reading we ship: the data already exists, it is official, and it needs no setup per site. The 30-day trial already includes every reading we send.
