AInnovación 2026: Desvelio's first public presentation

On 22 September we present Desvelio in public, at Torre Ilunion in Madrid.

On Tuesday 22 September Madrid hosts the third AInnovación. It is the first time we show this project on a stage and not in a closed room.

It returns to Torre Ilunion, Calle de Albacete 3, in Ciudad Lineal, the same building as 2025. Talks are in Spanish or English.

Besides us, CMS MAG has confirmed Automattic (WordPress VIP and Newspack), Gleamlight CMS, BAB Software with Comitium, Coderty with Notos and Labrador CMS. The list may still grow.

Who organizes it

The day is run by CMS MAG, the magazine Jorge Mediavilla founded in October 2018 and still directs. He has spent more than twenty years in digital media: eight at Yahoo Spain and then the sports-betting business at Diario AS, inside PRISA. He also collaborates with the journalism master’s at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. He has spent all these years writing about the software newsrooms actually run, and AInnovación is his annual gathering: the people who build that software and the publishers that live on it, in the same room. In past editions he opened the morning or closed the day himself.

Where it comes from

In 2023 CMS MAG put on a smaller day at Sngular, in Madrid: a look back at the year in content systems, and the first time that industry sat in the same room. That is where AInnovación came from.

The first edition with that name was on 10 October 2024, at Google for Startups Campus in Madrid. Eleven companies spoke: Arc XP, Glide Publishing Platform, WordPress VIP, Newspack, Labrador CMS, Liferay, Bitban, Protecmedia, Cibeles Group, New Script and Xalok. Sngular closed the afternoon. More than fifty companies came, with people from Vocento, Disney, Axel Springer, Henneo, EFE, El Español, Unidad Editorial, ¡Hola!, Telemadrid and 20 Minutos.

Last year they moved to Torre Ilunion, there was a livestream for the first time, and the day got bigger. Vocento, Henneo, PRISA, El Confidencial, EFE, El Economista, Condé Nast, Mediaset and Total Publishing Network were there, among many others. Jorge Mediavilla closed the day.

This year there is no livestream. In 2025 the stream helped people who could not travel; for 2026 CMS MAG wants people in the room: to ask, to talk at lunch, to stay the whole day. If you want to hear it, you have to be there.

The ticket is free. You ask on their page and then they call or write to confirm the seat. Places are limited.

We are taking what already runs on a publisher: Readers and Competitors, on the homepage and the article, with no other panel. CMS MAG wrote about it on 18 August. We want to talk with publishers in Spain and abroad: if you will be there, write to us. And if you would rather see it first, the 30-day trial is already open to the public.
